Your privacy matters

This policy explains what TagFindr collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information you provide when you sign up, such as your name, email address and country.
  • Store information that owners provide, including store name, description, address, logo and banner images.
  • Item listings, including photos, descriptions, price, size, brand and condition.
  • Reservation and purchase activity so we can show availability and history.
  • Review content you submit, including ratings, comments and photos.
  • Your alert preferences (sizes, categories, brands, price range) so we can notify you of matching items.
  • Approximate location (when permitted) used only to sort stores and items by distance from you.

How we use your information

  • To operate the marketplace — listing items, processing reservations and showing availability.
  • To send you email alerts when items matching your saved criteria are listed.
  • To display verified reviews and build trust between shoppers and stores.
  • To provide admin moderation tools that keep listings accurate and the community safe.
  • To improve the platform and fix issues.

How we share your information

  • Store owners can see your display name on reviews and reservations, but your email is not shared with them.
  • We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
  • We only disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of our community.

Data security

  • We use authentication managed by the platform and store sensitive data securely.
  • Photos are uploaded to secure storage and shown only on the listings and reviews they relate to.

Your rights

  • You can view and update your profile information from your personal page at any time.
  • You can delete your account and associated data from your personal page — this action is permanent.
  • You can turn off item alerts or delete saved alert criteria whenever you wish.

Cookies & sessions

  • We use essential cookies and session tokens to keep you signed in and the app working.
  • We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
