TagFindr uses a simple credit system to keep reservations fair for shoppers and stores. Buying itself always happens in store — no card transactions on the app.
Credits are the small deposit that powers reservations. One credit equals one Singapore dollar, and you only spend them when you reserve an item — never to browse or search.
When you reserve an item, 1 credit is deducted from your balance. This holds the item for you for the reservation window so the store sets it aside and no one else can grab it.
Buying only happens in store — you're never obliged to purchase. But if you don't show up before your reservation expires, the store can list the item again and keeps the 1 credit you spent. That's fair compensation for holding it just for you.
If you buy the item in store and the owner marks it as sold, you receive about 0.90 credits back. The small portion kept covers the store's effort in setting the item aside — but since the sale went through, most of your deposit returns to you.
Refunded credits go straight back to your balance and can be used for future reservations. Top up anytime from the Buy Credits page whenever you're running low.
TagFindr never processes the actual purchase. You pay the store directly in person using whatever method they accept. Credits are only a lightweight reservation deposit — nothing more.
